The GeForce GTS 450 video adapter is based on the GF106 chip, has 192 stream processors, a 128-bit memory bus, 1 GB of GDDR5 video memory and nominal frequencies of 783/1566/3600 MHz. For the correct operation of the device, you will need to power a single 6-pin PCI-E Power connector; in addition, it is possible to combine two such cards into a 2-Way SLI tandem.
The PCB length of the reference GTS 450 video accelerator is 21 cm. Users will have at their disposal a low-noise (we hope) two-slot cooler and a set of Dual-Link DVI-I (x2) and mini HDMI ports.
From the second slide we learn about the number of texture units (32 units) and Polymorph engines (4 units), which is equivalent to 16 rasterization units. The power consumption of the GeForce GTS is slightly lower than previously thought - 106 watts, not 125 watts. Thus, the difference in this indicator with competitors - Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770 - turned out to be minimal.
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 will replace the mid-range video card of the previous generation - GeForce GTS 250 (G92b). The Colorful GeForce GTS 450 is based on the GF106 GPU based on 40nm technology and clocked at 783MHz. The GPU carries 192 CUDA cores clocked at 1566MHz and is designed to work with 1GB 3608MHz GDDR5 memory modules. The model is equipped with a 128-bit memory bus, four Polymorph engines, a 6-pin PCI-E Power connector and a cooler for two expansion slots. There are two DVI connectors and one mini HDMI connector for connection to a monitor or LCD TV.
