GeForce GTX 460 SE
As expected, on November 15, NVIDIA expanded its range of graphics adapters with a “stripped down” version of the GeForce GTX 460 model based on the GF104 chip manufactured using 40nm technology with advanced Fermi architecture. Unlike its predecessor, the new GeForce GTX 460 SE has only 288 CUDA cores instead of 336 and operates at lower frequencies of 650/1300/3400 MHz (core/shader units/memory). Recall that the original version of the GeForce GTX 460 frequency indicators are 670/1350/3600 MHz.
The video card is made on a black PCB for the PCI Express 2.0 x16 bus and is actively cooled by a two-slot cooler with a round aluminum heatsink, copper heat pipes and a large top fan.
The amount of GDDR5 memory present on board with a 256-bit interface is 1024 MB. A pair of special 6-pin connectors is provided for organizing additional power. The rear panel has two DVI ports and an HDMI output. The maximum power consumption does not exceed 150 watts.
