GeForce GTX 950
The video card is based on the Maxwell architecture - at the same technical level as the GeForce GTX 960. To be more specific, the GM206-250 GPU is used. It is manufactured using a 28nm process technology and is equipped with 2.94 billion transistors. There are no surprises here, but only 768 stream processors work on the GPU.
They are organized into two GPC clusters and six Streaming Multiprocessors. Note the presence of 48 texture units and 32 raster operations pipelines (ROP). The memory configuration is 2 GB, which is quite typical for this price level. The memory is connected via a 128-bit interface. NVIDIA indicates a base frequency of 1.024 MHz, in Boost mode it increases to at least 1.188 MHz. GDDR5 memory runs at 1.650 MHz. Thermal package NVIDIA indicated at 90 watts.
The GM206 GPU supports the latest GPU Boost clock and voltage dynamic technology to provide the best possible 3D performance under certain conditions (voltage, temperature, power consumption) while maintaining the lowest frequency that is guaranteed under any nominal condition .

Like older models like the GeForce GTX 980, the new board supports HDMI 2.0 and up to 5K video output on up to four displays simultaneously. And with the proliferation of 4K video content, HDCP 2.2 over HDMI support becomes important.
