AMD Finalizes Radeon RX 7000 GPU Lineup But Hints at a Potential Refresh!

RDNA 3

During the recent Radeon Gaming event, Scott Herkelman, Senior Vice President at AMD, confirmed the completion of the RDNA 3 GPU lineup with the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT models. Set at a price point of $499 and $449 respectively, they are slated for release on September 6th.

Interestingly, AMD currently has no offerings within the $299-$399 segment, leaving a sizeable gap, especially when considering the substantial interest most gamers have in this range.

In competition with NVIDIA's offerings, the RX 7900, RX 7800, and RX 7700 lineups sport varying VRAM configurations and cater to different price brackets. For instance, the RX 7900 XTX is set to rival the RTX 4080, boasting 24 GB VRAM.

Herkelman further clarified that while the RDNA 3 lineup is finalized, a refresh with similar specs might be in the cards, contingent upon market demand.

As for RDNA 4 rumors, they remain just that – rumors. However, one thing remains clear: AMD is still giving NVIDIA a run for its money, especially with its RDNA 3 lineup.
