AMD Pioneers Next-Gen Gaming with the Introduction of FSR 3 Technology

AMD is charting new territories in the gaming realm, unveiling the imminent launch of its innovative FSR 3 technology. This move seeks to bolster in-game performance and graphics and promises an expanded roster of supported titles.

The FSR 3 technology will not be limited to AMD graphic cards but will span across products from other manufacturers, including NVIDIA and Intel, and is even adaptable to gaming consoles. More insights on FSR 3 are anticipated in the upcoming months.

Additionally, AMD is set to weave the Fluid Motion Frame technology into HYPR-RX. This integration will empower DX12 and DX11 games with Fluid Motion Frames and Frame Interpolation/Generation capabilities. HYPR-RX is slated for a release in a matter of weeks, with a full-fledged Adrenalin driver-based approach to follow by early 2024.

Facilitating an easy transition, FSR 3 will seamlessly blend into games already employing the FSR 2, courtesy of its open-source MIT license, as confirmed by AMD at the GDC earlier this year.

Kickstarting the FSR 3 journey will be games like Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum, but the list doesn't halt there. A slew of popular titles, including Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, Cyberpunk 2077, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II, are in line to embrace this technology in the future.
