AMD Radeon PRO W7700: Setting a New Standard in Professional GPUs for $999

AMD recently unveiled the Radeon PRO W7700, a new addition to its PRO lineup, acting as a "bridge" between high-end and budget-friendly solutions. Priced at $999, this model aims to be the fastest professional GPU in its price range, competing against NVIDIA's RTX 4000 SFF Ada.

Based on the Navi 32 GPU, the Radeon PRO W7700 offers 16GB of GDDR6 memory and 576 GB/s bandwidth. With an estimated FP32 compute power of 28.3 TFLOPS and a clock speed of around 2.3GHz, the Radeon PRO W7700 promises robust performance for professional applications.

AMD has also focused on power efficiency, setting the TBP (Total Board Power) at 190W. Additionally, the card supports 64MB of Infinity Cache and extensive AV1 encoding capabilities, enabling up to 8K60 video streaming.

According to AMD, the Radeon PRO W7700 delivers up to 1.7 times better price-to-performance ratio compared to its competitors. It also shows significantly higher performance in key professional applications like SOLIDWORKS, Creo, and CATIA.
