AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE Sees Global Price Reductions, Now Below $600 in Some Regions

Significant price drops are being observed for the AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16 GB GPU across global markets. In countries like China and Europe, the prices have fallen below the official Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).

In China, the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE is now listed at 4179 RMB (approximately $573 US), which is a reduction of 1120 RMB ($153 US) from the official Chinese MSRP of 5299 RMB. Meanwhile, in Italy, the same model has been priced as low as 616 Euros, down from around 700 Euros.

These price cuts might be attributed to regional pricing changes and promotional deals, such as the 11.11 sale in China. They could also be seen as AMD's strategy to stay competitive against NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 40 "SUPER" GPUs, especially with the expected price drop in the RTX 4070 SUPER series, which competes with the RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 GRE models.
