ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG MATRIX Sets New 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme Record

The ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG MATRIX graphics card has set a new world record. This GPU continues to demonstrate impressive performance, exceeding the previous results by more than a thousand points.

Professional overclocker Allen Matthew, also known as SPLAVE, demonstrated the card running at frequencies over 4 GHz and showed incredible levels of power consumption under LN2 cooling. During the tests, the GPU was running at up to 3885 MHz at a temperature of -34.6C for the GPU and -40.0C on hot spots. Memory was set to run at 1563 MHz or 25 GB/s, providing a remarkable bandwidth of 1.20 TB/s.

The test platform included an ASRock Z690 Aqua OC motherboard with DDR5-6446 memory and also an Intel Core i9-13900KF CPU, overclocked to a rock-solid 7554 MHz under the same LN2 cooling.

The ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG MATRIX GPU scored 56,489 points overall in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, 58,589 in graphics, and 74,624 in physics tests. This is a 2.5% increase compared to the previous record set by overclocker CENS using an LN2 overclocked RTX 4090 from Colorful (iGame LAB).
