Capcom has unveiled that developers working on the RE (Reach for the Moon) Engine for current and next-generation games are utilizing high-end PCs. These PCs are outfitted with NVIDIA's RTX 4090 GPUs and AMD's Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX CPUs, which are known for their remarkable performance capabilities. The detailed specifications of the systems include:

  1. Processor: AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5975WX, featuring 32 cores and 64 threads, with a large cache memory pool of 146 MB, and a clock speed of up to 4.5 GHz. Despite newer models available in the Threadripper 7000 series, the chosen CPU still offers impressive multi-threading performance which is essential for building engine and game assets​1​.

  2. Graphics Processing Unit (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. The RTX 4090 is known for its high performance, making it a suitable choice for graphics-intensive tasks​1​.

  3. Memory and Storage: The systems are equipped with 256 GB of DDR4 RAM and 10 TB SSDs, providing ample space and rapid access to project resources​1​.
