Intel Core i3-14100 CPU Goes on Sale in China at a Lower Price Than Core i3-13100, Official Debut Still Planned for 2024

The unreleased Intel Core i3-14100 has surfaced for sale at Goofish, a Chinese 3rd party retailer, marked as a "QS" or Qualification Sample with the "SRN26" code. Normally, QS chips are similar to their retail counterparts. Recently, companies have shifted towards providing retail versions for reviews to minimize any discrepancies between QS and retail chips.

The Intel Core i3-14100, discovered at Goofish, is equipped with a 4 P-Core design, operating at a 3.5 GHz base and 4.7 GHz boost clock. The CPU has a base TDP of 60W and a boost MTP of 110W, along with 5 MB of L2 and 12 MB of L3 cache. Its pricing is expected to be around $100-$120 US, aligning with Intel's competitive pricing strategy.

In Geekbench tests, the Intel Core i3-14100 showed a 12%/23% increase in single-core and multi-core performance compared to its predecessor. However, its real-life application performance has yet to be tested, so final conclusions on its capabilities remain tentative.
