NVIDIA Set to Launch RTX 40 "SUPER" Series in Early December, Reducing RTX 4080 and 4070 Stocks

Recent reports indicate that NVIDIA has ceased the production of GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 GPUs, making way for the imminent launch of the new "SUPER" series expected in early December. This move led to the final shipments of these GPU models being delivered to partners at the beginning of this quarter, with stocks expected to deplete soon.

The graphics card market is poised for dynamic changes in the coming period. Retailers might either increase the prices of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 series due to low supply or decrease them to clear out the remaining stocks. In any case, experts advise consumers to wait for the upcoming RTX 40 "SUPER" series launch, which could lead to price reductions for the older models.

Changes will primarily affect the Chinese market and related regions. However, the US, UK, and EU markets will be less impacted by these shifts. Given the recent restrictions on the RTX 4090 in China, the RTX 4080 SUPER may become the fastest available GPU solution in these regions for some time.

A key question currently in the market is whether the pricing for the new RTX 4080 and 4070 SUPER series will be similar or lower than the existing MSRP. If prices turn out to be lower, it could enhance the appeal of the new models compared to AMD's offerings and intensify competition in the graphics card market.
