NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 AI with Dual-Slot Cooling: Gaming Cards Repurposed for China's AI Market

Due to US sanctions against China, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 gaming cards have been given a new purpose in the Chinese AI market. Now equipped with dual-slot turbine cooling systems, these cards have been repurposed to meet the demands of the artificial intelligence sector.

Photos released by I_Leak_VN reveal that the modified GeForce RTX 4090 AI cards maintain a "Founders Edition" design and are fitted with efficient dual-slot radiators. They also feature a backplate, adding a touch of solidity to their appearance.

Each card comes with a large exhaust vent and standard video outputs, including three DP 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.1. Uniquely, the 16-pin power connector is located at the front of the board, differentiating it from the standard RTX 4090 version.

The transformation process involves dismantling the original boards, removing the GPUs and GDDR6X memory, and then reassembling them onto new boards designed for AI applications. As a result, these cards become ready for use in the Chinese AI industry.
