NVIDIA Refreshes Ada GPU Lineup for RTX 4070, 4060 Ti, and 4060 Models
NVIDIA is set to introduce new Ada GPU variants for its GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti, and RTX 4060 graphics cards, according to a report from MEGAsizeGPU. These updates span across the mainstream and high-end market segments.
The GeForce RTX 4070 will transition from the current AD104-251 GPU to the new AD103-175-KX SKU. Meanwhile, the RTX 4060 Ti will move from AD106-351 to AD104-150-KX, and the RTX 4060 from AD107-400 to AD106-255. Notably, the AD103-175-KX was previously mentioned as the GPU for the RTX 4070 SUPER in leaked specs.
There are no confirmed changes in specifications for these new GPU SKUs, and it seems unlikely that there will be any major changes. NVIDIA appears to be reallocating higher-end dies that were not used for their intended graphics card models to lower-tier SKUs, continuing a practice seen in past GPU releases.
The graphics cards featuring these new Ada GPU SKUs are expected to hit the market starting this month, with the RTX 4070 leading the rollout, followed by the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 next month. The latest GeForce Game Ready 551.86 driver from NVIDIA already includes support for these new GPU SKUs, ensuring seamless integration for users. Product pages from manufacturers are also anticipated to be updated soon to reflect these new SKUs.
