PlayStation 5 Pro Rumors: Sony's upcoming console could use 4nm process technology

Online rumors suggest that Sony might be utilizing TMSC's 4nm process for its upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro console. This information is based on a comment from well-known AMD leaker Kepler, stating that the differences between the 3nm N3E and the 4nm N4P processes don't significantly impact performance.

Reliable leaker Tom Henderson claims that the PlayStation 5 Pro will hit the market in November 2024. According to his leaks, the console will offer improved ray tracing support, an 8K "Performance Mode", and more consistent 4K performance. It is speculated that the new console will feature faster memory and approximately 60 Compute Units, nearly doubling the base PlayStation 5 model's 36.

There's no official confirmation of these rumors yet, so stay tuned for updates.
