Gigabyte transforms the design of the RTX 4090 WindForce: A fresh look at the power connector.

Gigabyte has made a major upgrade to its RTX 4090 WindForce graphics accelerator, now offering a more compact size and innovative design.

If earlier a massive cooler protruded beyond the board, occupying 3.5 slots, now the video card has become thinner. Along with this, the manufacturer added an unexpected feature - a power connector hidden on the back of the device.

The new approach to 12VHPWR connector placement makes cable management easier and reduces the need for large cable bending space. Despite this, the cable will be visible as there is no special protection similar to what we saw in the design from AXGaming.

This update went very quietly. Gigabyte hasn't made any big announcements, but has simply added information about the new graphics card on their website under other RTX 4090 models. However, the new model is already available for purchase, and some enthusiasts in China have already purchased it for their new PCs.
