New SDK from NVIDIA - DLSS SDK 3.1.13

dlss 3

The world famous graphics card manufacturer, NVIDIA , never ceases to amaze us. It would seem, what else to expect from a company offering its users more and more? However, in the new DLSS update (which is behind Deep Learning Super Sampling, by the way, feel free to impress your friends at the party), we're being offered a little... well, not very clear.

From the beginning, let's go from the end. The new update includes bug fixes and improvements, but NVIDIA hasn't said exactly what has changed. Obviously, something so large-scale that it is impossible to talk about it yet. Maybe they just don't want to annoy us too much with their technical vocabulary? Who knows...

Now, let's move on to this mysterious "G". NVIDIA added it in the latest update, and in turn, it really...does absolutely nothing. It just sits there, preparing for its future. Perhaps it is the letter G as in "genius" who will come and explain to us what it means. We are looking forward to!

The most important part of this update is undoubtedly the introduction of DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing). It's like DLSS, only without scaling. Graceful, isn't it? It promises to improve image quality for "older" players who are already playing at high frame rates. It's like having your chef cook dinner for you and then decide to make it even better by adding some magic to it. Or in this case, artificial intelligence.
