GeForce RTX 4060 Sales Delayed and Expectations on Pricing for NVIDIA's New Graphics Card
New information from a MEGAsizeGPU insider indicates that NVIDIA has postponed the start of sales of the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card. This graphics card was originally scheduled to be released in July, around the same time as the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.
According to MEGAsizeGPU, the release of the GeForce RTX 4060 is expected by the end of June. This graphics card will be available for $299, lower than the RTX 3060's starting price of $329.
However, in the past generation of video cards, almost no one could get them at the suggested retail price, as demand exceeded supply. Today the situation has changed: video cards are available almost everywhere, but the demand for them has decreased. This is especially true for the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB and the Radeon RX 7600. According to bloggers and journalists, these graphics cards are expensive compared to the performance they offer.
It is likely that the GeForce RTX 4060 will also drop its price almost immediately after release, similar to what happened with the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB and the Radeon RX 7600.
The GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card will be based on the AD107-400-A1 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory using a 128-bit bus.
This new graphics card from NVIDIA is expected to attract the attention of users due to its affordable price and acceptable performance.
