The developers of a Nintendo Switch emulator called Yuzu have voiced their frustrations with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card and expressed concerns about its performance. In an official post published on their blog, they called the release of this model a bad decision on the part of Nvidia.

According to them, the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card with 8 GB of memory only has a 128-bit memory bus and GDDR6 video memory, which significantly reduces performance when using the Yuzu emulator compared to the previous RTX 3060 Ti model. The developers note that when running Nintendo Switch games on the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, users may find that the performance is not as good as its predecessor.

In light of this, Yuzu developers recommend that users continue to use Ampere series graphics cards such as the RTX 3060 Ti to achieve better performance in the emulator. They note that if the purchase of an RTX 40-series graphics card is necessary due to certain features such as DLSS3 or AV1, then a higher-end model should be purchased.

The emulator's developers emphasize that spending $400 on a video card with reduced performance is a bad decision, and they do not recommend such an option.

As a result, Yuzu developers expressed their disappointment with the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and urged users to stay with higher performance models that will allow them to enjoy Nintendo Switch game emulation with better quality and smoothness.
