ADATA XPG boasts record overclocking level of DDR5 RAM modules

ADATA XPG boasts of its achievements in overclocking next generation modules. The Taiwanese have achieved two insanely high but ostensibly stable results in excess of 8000 MT/s.

The gaming brand XPG, owned by the Taiwanese company ADATA, boasted of the achievement of its group XOCL (XPG Overclocing Lab). We are talking about the insanely high overclocking results of DDR5 RAM modules on Intel Alder Lake platforms. The Taiwanese, using an unspecified proprietary bone-based RAM memory from SK Hynix, raised the frequency from 4800 MHz to 8104 MHz with CL 52-52-52-96 T2 delays and up to 8118 MHz with CL 50-50-50-160 T2 delays. Voltage settings remain a mystery.

Unfortunately, the company did not reveal many details - we do not know what processor was used, at what settings and with what cooling it worked.

The full portfolio of ADATA XPG memory modules will be unveiled later this month with the premiere of Intel Alder Lake processors and custom motherboards featuring Intel's flagship Z690 chipsets. It remains only to be patient.
