RESIDENT EVIL 2 / BIOHAZARD RE:2 is a remake of the 1998 survival horror game of the same name. Resident Evil 2 was released in 1998, and now one of the most famous games of all time is returning to modern consoles in a brand new look.
Play separate campaigns as Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield in a new third-person mode. Embark on a zombie-infested Raccoon City recreated with Capcom's exclusive RE Engine. Terrifying discoveries await not only new players but also hardened fans as the city is filled with puzzles, storylines and areas!

GAME ENGINE |
RE Engine is a game engine designed for "all next generation Capcom games". Used by Capcom for their internal projects. The first game on this engine was Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, released on January 24, 2017. At the moment, 2 more games are being prepared for release in 2019 on this engine - a remake of Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5.
The RE Engine uses several middleware solutions. The only solution known for certain is Audiokinetic Wwise, a cross-platform audio engine. The engine also uses subsurface scattering technology, which is used to render some objects, for example, human skin, anti-aliasing (FXAA + TAA), HDR.

Our video cards were tested at resolutions of 1920x1080, 2560x1600 and 3840x2160 at maximum graphics quality settings in DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 modes.

Testing of the video memory consumed by the game was carried out by the MSI Afterburner program. The results on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA at resolutions of 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 with various anti-aliasing settings were taken as the indicator. RAM TEST |
The test was conducted on the base configuration of the Core i 9 9900K with 32 GB DDR4 3200 MGz pre-installed memory. All used RAM was taken as an indicator.
