Official description of the game
Publisher Black Bean Games bought the rights to create games under the brand name World Rally Championship (WRC). The development of a new racing simulator was entrusted to Milestone studios. Everything in the game will be impossibly official - only real teams and real racers taking part in the World Rally Championship. Black Bean Games has officially announced that the continuation of the series of rally racing simulators World Rally Championship will go on sale in Europe on October 8 this year in versions for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The World Rally Championship 2010 will be the first game in the series in five years and will feature all of the official licensed cars, drivers and co-drivers from this rally season, as well as 78 tracks. The game will feature a new career mode, Road to the WRC, where you can earn over 50 different rewards, as well as a multiplayer component - details of the latter will be announced closer to release.
Overview: Playability
We meet a new game that has appeared in the field of racing simulators - and its name is WRC FIA World Rally Championship. In translation, this name literally sounds like this - the World Rally Championship, and the game is based on a real rally series of races held by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) since 1973.
There is no significant content in the demo - two single races and 2 cars to choose from. But even from this little we can see that the game is very similar to Colin McRae: DiRT, both in design and graphical terms. It is worth noting the quite comfortable behavior of the machines, which has a very positive effect on comfortable driving.
We invite you to evaluate a part of the WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo playthrough, where you can see for yourself the quality of this product:
It's too early to say anything about the WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo - the demo is poor and very much resembles the first DiRT. With the release of the full version, perhaps there will be more variety, but for the test of video cards, the demo version was enough for us...
Review: Game Graphics
WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo has a good graphics component and even without support for the newfangled graphics API DirectX X 11 can easily compete with such well-deserved leaders in the beauty of the picture among racing simulators as Formula 1 2010 and Dirt 2.
I was very pleased with the high-quality drawing of cars and the real reproduction of the scenery of the surrounding world. Although in this regard there is a double-edged sword - despite all the visual beauty of the world around, its woodenness and inanimateness, which is very noticeable when the car is completely stopped, is striking.
The physics in the WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo are very tight, and in order to crash your car, you would rather have to drive the mouse into the monitor than crash into something. But this is forgivable, given that the game was developed by Milestone, and not by any Codemasters.
Review: Game resource intensive
For the Superstars WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo, you will need a Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz or Athlon 64 x2 6000 processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM.

All video cards were tested at the maximum graphics quality by the Fraps program. Lower performance graphics cards are tested based on the Core 2 Quad Q9550 processor, while higher performing graphics cards are based on the Core™ i7 processors.
Our video cards are tested in general at all resolutions, and you can evaluate how your video card behaves relative to other modern solutions in almost all gaming resolutions. The quality of anti-aliasing was set to the maximum allowed by the game itself, namely 4X.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1024x768
So, at a resolution of 1024x768, for maximum graphics settings, users will need video cards of the Radeon HD 3870 or GeForce 8800 GT level.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1280x1024
When you increase the resolution to 1280x1024, you will need a slightly more powerful video system, namely the Radeon HD 3870 or GeForce 8800 GTX.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1680x1050
The 1680x1050 resolution sets slightly higher requirements for video cards and defines them at the level of the Radeon HD 4830 or GeForce GTS 250.
Testing at maximum quality settings 1920x1080
Finally, with HD resolution of 1920x1080, the presence of such video cards as the Radeon HD 5750 or GeForce GTX 260 will already be required. Not for the sake of discussion, we can say that Radeon cards look more preferable for a more comfortable game in the WRC FIA World Rally Championship.
Conclusion : The WRC FIA World Rally Championship Demo looks like a tempting product and is quite capable of persuading rally fans to buy the full version. System requirements are quite tolerable and on the shoulder of many gaming systems.
