Radeon HD 5750
The Radeon HD 5750 uses the same Juniper GPU as the "older" HD 5770 model. AMD disabled one of the 10 SIMD units on this chip, that is, disabled 80 stream processors and four texture units.
The ATI Radeon HD 5750 has a completely different design. Until now, all 5000-series video cards used a closed plastic shroud with a special fan that blew air towards the I / O panel on all video cards. The Radeon HD 5750 uses a simpler dual-slot cooling combination. The PCB is even shorter at 18.4 cm (7.25"), but it requires an additional power supply.
Then the GPU frequency was reduced to 700 MHz, which gives computing power at the level of 1 TFLOPS. ATI didn't cut the back of the GPU pipeline, resulting in the same 16 ROPs and 128-bit memory bus with 1GB GDDR5. However, the memory clock speeds were reduced to 1150 MHz, which resulted in a drop in memory bandwidth to 73.6 GB / s.
