Baldur's Gate 3 Breaks Golden Joystick Awards Record, Surpassing The Last of Us 2
Following the successful release of its full version, Baldur's Gate 3 from Larian Studios has shone brightly at the recent Golden Joystick Awards ceremony. The game clinched seven awards, thereby breaking the previous record set by Sony PlayStation's exclusive - The Last of Us 2, which bagged six awards in 2020.
Despite its achievement, Baldur's Gate 3 couldn’t surpass the total number of awards garnered by CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 3. The Witcher 3 earned a total of ten awards, including two for "Most Anticipated Game" in 2013 and 2014, along with accolades for its DLC.
