Baldur's Gate 3 Skyrockets in Steam Charts Before Release
Ahead of the release of Baldur's Gate 3, scheduled for August 3 for PC and September 6 for PlayStation 5, the game is climbing the Steam charts.
Pre-orders for Baldur's Gate 3 were boosted by the game's release trailer, which was featured on the Panel From Hell stream last Friday. The trailer revealed that if the story campaign is played as a druid, the protagonist can indulge in lovemaking in the form of a bear, which drew a lot of attention to the game.
According to Steam's Weekly Top Paid Games Chart by Revenue (July 4-11), Larian Studios' fantasy RPG has climbed 17 spots to number five, just behind ELDEN RING. Last week, Baldur's Gate 3 was only number 21 on this list.
