Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Introduces Revolutionary Changes to Gunsmith System

Call of Duty 2023 Modern Warfare 3

Developers at Sledgehammer Games have shared exciting news about revolutionary changes to the Gunsmith system, responsible for weapon customization in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Now, non-magnifying (1x) reflex sights no longer affect aiming speed, providing greater flexibility in choosing optics for your firearms.

The most significant innovation is the ability to apply modules from one weapon to another. For instance, after acquiring an Assault Stock for one weapon model, you can use it on another gun, simplifying and expediting your arsenal customization.

Weapons still have multiple slots for modifications, and the restriction of 5 enhancements per weapon remains in effect.

The series also introduces special weapon variants, accessible after completing unique trials. These conversions allow you to alter weapon characteristics, offering new gameplay possibilities without limiting modification slots.

The Gunsmith system in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III unlocks boundless opportunities for fine-tuning your firearms, making gameplay even more engaging and personalized.

Stay tuned for more updates, as the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is scheduled for November 10th on PC (Steam, Battle.net), PlayStation, and Xbox.
