Battlefield 2042 Prepares for a New Season of 'Dark Creations' with New Maps and Weapons
Despite a mixed reception from the audience, Battlefield 2042 isn't giving up and is launching a new season entirely dedicated to the horror genre. In "Dark Creations," players can expect new maps, weapons, and much more.
The "Dark Creations" season introduces the following updates:
- A new infantry map with tight spaces.
- The introduction of new types of weapons and equipment.
- Additions to the battle pass.
Furthermore, with the launch of the sixth season of Battlefield 2042, PC players will have EA Anticheat activated - a technology developed by Electronic Arts in September 2022. This anti-cheat works at the core level, which raised concerns among players, but EA promises it won't interfere with personal files, won't degrade performance, and can be easily removed.
More details about "Dark Creations" are set to be revealed in a gameplay trailer on October 5th. The season itself is scheduled to start on October 10th.
