Hunt: Showdown Prepares for Major Update with CryEngine 5 and New Biom Map

This substantial update to CryEngine 5 will be available on both PC and consoles, with the game receiving a free update with full support for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. It's worth noting that PC players may experience increased system requirements.

Support for Hunt: Showdown on older Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles will be discontinued in April of the following year.

The initial phase of the transition to CryEngine 5 will involve the implementation of DirectX 12 support, FSR 2.1.2, Direct Storage, and HDR. Developers plan to introduce more new features and undertake a complete overhaul of the user interface in the latter half of 2024.

Upcoming updates for Hunt: Showdown will also include weapon inspection animations, improved controller support, a revamped weapon wheel, and much more.
