CD Projekt RED releases patch 2.02 for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, fixing numerous bugs
Developer CD Projekt RED continues to refine their game Cyberpunk 2077 by releasing patch 2.02, aimed at fixing numerous bugs in the latest DLC Phantom Liberty and beyond. The update encompasses a plethora of fixes and improvements such as adjusting the availability timing of transport orders, fixing animation, lighting, and scene design errors, as well as correcting glitches that hindered players from progressing through certain areas of the game.
or instance, in update 2.02, an issue where the "Quadra Sport R-7 'Avenger'" car did not appear on the "Autofixer" site has been resolved. Also, an issue with the gates of Dog City being blocked, which prevented entry into this location, has been addressed. Now, the Sasquatch hammer will be available for purchase on the black market at the stadium if players did not pick it up after battling Sasquatch.
Regarding gameplay, changes have been made to the balance of certain weapons based on player feedback. For example, the stats for the "Malorian Arms 3516" weapon have been increased, making it more powerful and easier to handle even at low levels of stamina. Additionally, glitches that interfered with the correct operation of some game elements, such as shooting through glass and erroneously obtaining high-level skill chips at early stages of the game, have been fixed.
For PC players, update 2.02 has introduced a tool for detecting incompatible and incorrect scripts that arose due to the installation of outdated mods or file corruption during game updates and installations. Now, instead of a crash, an error message will be displayed, and the game will exit correctly.
On consoles, changes were also made to improve the game saving process and prevent the creation of corrupted saves in case of space shortage.
With CD Projekt RED continuing to work on improving the game's quality and fixing bugs, the community anticipates further enhancements and additional updates for Cyberpunk 2077.
