Final Fantasy XVI PC Version Undergoing Optimization, High System Requirements Expected

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida revealed that the PC port of the game is currently in the optimization testing phase. He mentioned that while they are working to determine the system requirements, they may appear somewhat high for PC gamers.

Yoshida emphasized, "We are currently trying to figure out the optimization and determine the system requirements. This is the most important thing for PC players. The system requirements seem to be somewhat high."

PC gamers concerned about whether their hardware can handle Final Fantasy XVI will have the opportunity to assess this through a demo version, which Square Enix plans to release in the near future. The developer assured that PC gamers would not have to wait another year or two for the game's release.

Additionally, Yoshida confirmed that PC gamers would receive the game with two expansions included. The first expansion was released on PlayStation 5 last winter, and the second is set to appear in spring. This move ensures that PC players will enjoy an enriched gaming experience right from the start.
