This surge in interest can be attributed to a substantial 67% discount, available until the sale concludes on November 28th. Impressively, this peak occurred four years after the game's initial release.

It's worth noting that the previous record was set earlier this year on January 19th, with an online player count of 70,000. Despite a period of reduced activity, the player base consistently held at 40-50,000. The current spike, especially during the ongoing sale, underscores the game's enduring appeal at a more accessible price point.

Released in October 2018 and later brought to PC in November 2019, Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to captivate the gaming community. Meanwhile, Rockstar is actively working on the highly anticipated GTA 6, with an official announcement slated for early December.
