Ubisoft is preparing a remake of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag

In response to the success of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Ubisoft is reportedly preparing a remake of the beloved game. The project is in its early stages of development and is being worked on by several studios, including Ubisoft Singapore, which is also currently preparing Skull and Bones.

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, released in 2013, remains one of the most successful entries in the Assassin's Creed series, with an engaging piracy theme and exciting naval battles. After a huge success, Ubisoft released an add-on that eventually became a standalone pirate action game in the open world. Now we are waiting for the release of Skulls and Bones, announced in 2017.

So far, Ubisoft has not commented on this information, but if the rumors are true, this will be the second remake from the French company after Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Of course, we have questions about what new features and improvements Ubisoft plans to bring to the remake, and whether we should expect surprises in the Assassin's Creed universe.
