In Diablo 4, only seasonal heroes will have the ability to level up the Battle Pass.

Diablo franchise head Rod Fergusson has made an important announcement in a tweet revealing the details of the seasonal progression in the upcoming fourth installment of this popular series. In this regard, users were worried about the possibility of advancing through the battle pass using the main character.

According to Fergusson, in order to level up the battle pass, you will need to create a seasonal hero. This means that Diablo IV characters created outside of the season will remain in their world, with no access to seasonal activities, quests, or Battle Pass content.

However, Fergusson also revealed that the seasonal hero will be able to play the story campaign, which in turn will allow you to level up the battle pass and advance along the seasonal route.
