NVIDIA Accelerates Launch of Advanced AI GPU

NVIDIA is ironing out supply and production dynamics for its forthcoming AI endeavor - the Blackwell B100 GPU. Recent reports point toward a slated launch for the new GPU in Q2 2024.

Interestingly, production orders for the AI modules H100 and B100 catering to North America have been handed to Hon Hai, with manufacturing envisaged in facilities across Mexico, the US, and Taiwan. However, the industry's main gaze remains on the B100 orders, also anticipated to be undertaken by Hon Hai.

Regarding supplies, while Wistron seems to be at the forefront, it appears Foxconn will serve as the final supplier of the complete AI modules.

Worth noting, the new GPUs are set to harness the HBM3e memory from SK hynix, promising industry-leading bandwidth and data transfer speeds.
