MSI is introducing a new line of GeForce RTX 4060 graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture that promises to compete with the best models on the market. New graphics cards including GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming 8G and GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G will be available for purchase starting June 29th.

Both graphics card models are black with a matching backplate, with the GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming 8G being slightly larger than the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G. The GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming 8G graphics card uses MSI's Twin Frozr 9 cooling system with a nickel-plated copper baseplate and two Torx 5.0 cooling fans. At the same time, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G is equipped with two Torx 4.0 fans.

Both models have the same Boost clock speed of 2475MHz, which is 15MHz faster than the reference GeForce RTX 4060. In addition, MSI offers overclocked models including the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G OC and GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming X 8G, with more higher clock speeds.

The video cards are equipped with three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and one HDMI 2.1a port, allowing you to connect up to four monitors simultaneously. It's also worth noting that the GeForce RTX 4060 has low power consumption, making it efficient to use. One 8-pin PCIe power connector is sufficient for power, and the minimum power supply is 550W.

The GeForce RTX 4060 has an official MSRP of $299, but simpler models like the GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G can be slightly higher. Higher-end models, the GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming 8G, are factory overclocked and will likely carry a slight price premium.
