In single-threaded performance, the Ryzen 9 7945HX processor is inferior to some Intel solutions, showing 753 points versus 869 points.
Cinebench R23 test results confirm the high performance of the Ryzen 9 7945HX processor in the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR laptop. In the multi-threaded test, the Ryzen 9 7945HX achieves a score of 33.513, well above the Intel Core i9-13980HX's score of 27.306. This suggests that the AMD processor is better at multi-threaded tasks such as rendering, video editing, and data processing.
However, in the single-threaded Cinebench R23 test, the Ryzen 9 7945HX scores 1.933, slightly behind the Intel Core i9-13980HX with its 2.132 score. This suggests that in some single-threaded tasks, such as older generation games, the Intel processor may have a slight advantage.
To test the speed of reading and writing memory in the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 laptop, we used the AIDA64 program.
Ryzen 9 7945HX memory read and write speeds in the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR laptop are 60.143MB/s and 58.612MB/s, respectively, which are lower than Intel solutions. However, it's worth noting that the difference in memory performance between Intel and AMD may not be that significant for most user scenarios.
The read and write speeds of the SSD in the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR laptop with Ryzen 9 7945HX are 6.690MB/s and 4.924MB/s, respectively. These figures indicate that the laptop uses a high-speed SSD, which allows you to quickly launch the operating system, applications and games, as well as improve overall system performance.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU (codenamed GN21-X11) is truly a high performance GPU designed specifically for premium laptops. It is based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and provides excellent performance in games and graphics applications.

Based on the performance test results in the game Cyberpunk 2077, we can conclude that the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 laptop with the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card is the most productive. Even without the use of DLSS 3.0 technology, it provides high average FPS at all resolutions, and with its help it outperforms the competition even more noticeably. Gigabyte AORUS 15 BSF and ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 laptops with less powerful GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 graphics cards, respectively, also performed well, but were inferior in performance to laptops with more powerful RTX 4090 graphics cards.

Based on the presented data, we can conclude that the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 with GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU has a high performance in the game A Plague Tale Requiem in all resolutions. Compared to other laptops equipped with RTX 4070, RTX 4080 and even RTX 4090, the performance of ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 is significantly higher.
With DLSS 3.0 technology, performance is improved at all resolutions, which confirms that ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 laptop can achieve high gaming performance.

In the Forspoken game, ASUS ROG Strix SCAR laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 graphics cards took first place, showing a high level of performance at a screen resolution of 1920x1080 and above. In particular, ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 and ROG Strix SCAR 18 with RTX 4090 graphics cards show outstanding performance at all resolutions, outperforming the competition. The Gigabyte AORUS 15 BSF laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics showed a lower level of performance, but is still able to provide a smooth game at a resolution of 1920x1080.

When comparing performance in Dead Space, you can see that on average ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 with GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop performs better than other laptops with lower configurations. In particular, at a resolution of 1920x1080, the FPS of the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 is 149, while it is lower for other laptops at this resolution. As the resolution increases, performance decreases, but the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 still leads the average FPS at all resolutions.

Based on the tests, we can conclude that the highest performance in the game Hogwarts Legacy at all resolutions is demonstrated by ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 with GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop, especially when using DLSS 3.0. However, at lower resolutions, the Gigabyte AORUS 15 BSF with the GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop and the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 with the GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop also performed quite well. Overall, all four laptops delivered excellent gaming performance, but picking the best model will depend on individual preference and budget.
