Cyberpunk 2077 Receives 8K and 4K Texture Pack for Main Characters

A new texture pack for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available, offering 8K and 4K resolution textures for the game's main characters. The NPC Re-Texture Project 2077 pack gives a visual overhaul to several major characters, including Johnny Silverhand and Rogue, who now feature 8K resolution textures. Other characters like Evelyn Parker, Judy Alvarez, Panam Palmer, Goro Takemura, and more also benefit from these enhanced textures. Additionally, the texture pack covers characters from the Phantom Liberty expansion, like Solomon Reed and Song So Mi. However, these textures might only impact performance on graphics cards with low VRAM.

Despite the game receiving its last major update last month, CD Projekt Red continues to support Cyberpunk 2077. The next patch, patch 2.02, aims to fix select issues, such as addressing cyberware problems introduced with patch 2.01.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. Players can explore the Phantom Liberty expansion, which offers additional storytelling, thrilling combat, and high-quality side content, enhancing an already fantastic game. Notable improvements include an overhaul of the perk tree system, vehicle combat, and an upgraded police system.
