Ghost of Tsushima Hits PC: Expanded Features and Release Date Announced

Sucker Punch Productions has announced the upcoming release of its flagship project, Ghost of Tsushima, for personal computers. This marks a historic event for the studio as its previous games were exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles.

The PC version is presented as a Director's Cut, including the "Iki Island" expansion, the "Legends" multiplayer mode, and the aesthetic "Kurosawa Mode." The adaptation of the game for PC has been in development for a year by the team at Nixxes Software.

The technical aspect of the new version promises numerous improvements: from unlocked frame rates and a variety of graphic settings to support for cutting-edge technologies such as DLSS 3, FSR, XeSS, DLAA, Reflex, and DirectStorage. Additionally, the game is adapted for ultra-wide and multiple monitors, includes support for the DualSense controller.

The PC version of Ghost of Tsushima allows players to dive deeper into the events of 1274 on Tsushima Island, where the main character – samurai Jin Sakai – faces off against Mongolian invaders. PC players can enjoy improved graphics and control optimized for mouse and keyboard.

The release of the game on Steam and Epic Games Store is scheduled for May 16. Therefore, Ghost of Tsushima is expected to provide a new gaming experience for PC players and will represent a significant milestone in the history of Sucker Punch Productions.
