Hellgate Reimagined: Lunacy Games Partners with HanbitSoft for New AAA Title

Led by Bill Roper, famed for his work on the original Hellgate: London, the studio embarks on creating a AAA title for PC and consoles, currently code-named Hellgate: Redemption.

This upcoming game aims to delve into the uncharted territories of a demonic apocalypse, unveiling new chapters in the universe's lore. Roper expressed enthusiasm for reviving the franchise, mentioning an "unfinished business" with the Hellgate world.

Hellgate: Redemption is being developed on the advanced Unreal Engine 5, ensuring cutting-edge technological and graphical capabilities. Lunacy Games is committed to retaining the core features of the original Hellgate: London while integrating the past 17 years' industry advancements.

The original game, released in 2007, pioneered the looter-shooter genre and introduced the innovative Battle Pass model, heightening anticipation for this forthcoming project among fans and critics alike.
