Starfield Update: Modding Tools and Early Access for Premium Edition Owners

Bethesda confirms that those who've snagged the Premium Edition of Starfield will dive into the universe five days ahead of the official launch.

The main game drop is set for September 6 on PC and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Plus, Starfield will be gracing the Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Dishing out more details at Gamescom 2023, Bethesda's Pete Hines mentioned that while modding capabilities are in the pipeline for Starfield, they won't be available right off the bat. This move mirrors Bethesda's approach with titles like Skyrim and Fallout 4, where modding tools were rolled out months post game launch.
